Some people have taken time to provide a paragraph or two sharing their thoughts about us. Here are a few samples.
“Pilot Property Management was an excellent choice for us. As a smaller condominium complex, we were apprehensive about moving from the original management, and Pilot made that transition smooth. Pilot took over on major problem projects, and did so with great fervor until completion. To HOA’s who seek guidance in the confusing world of all things Property Management, Pilot Property Management is a solid choice.”
Matthew Young, President, Shadowridge Club View, 760-917-9209
“I highly recommend Pilot Property Management, Inc. to any community association that is considering seeking a change in property management. Since their arrival, the Board of Directors of Del Mar Palms in Del Mar, CA has noticed considerable change for the better. I feel confident in recommending Pilot Property Management, Inc. to any association that is looking for qualified and industrious management.”
Bill Weurding, Past President, United Housing Corp, 858-485-8184
“…I am happy to be a reference. I think PPM is fabulous!”
Eileen Donovan, President, Villa Romeria Homeowners’, 760-632-7552
“…Pilot Property Management has performed in a highly professional, competent manner in all aspects of their work, and I recommend this firm wholeheartedly to any association seeking a caring, responsive, and knowledgeable management company.”
Alexander Angelle, member of the Board of Directors, 858-755-5226
“I have been impressed by the level of advice, knowledge, professionalism, and understanding of practical considerations provided by Tony and his staff. I am particularly pleased by their judgment when considering cost-management and strategic improvements of our structures and our association’s business practices.”
Jim Black, President, Cardiff Oceanfront Townhomes, 760-632-2269
“On behalf of the Saltaire Homeowners Association of Carlsbad, CA, a development consisting of 60 single family homes, I highly recommend Pilot as a management company for homeowners associations. In the year or so that they have managed our association, they have made continuous on-site visits, including walking association common areas to evaluate landscaping, checking out homes for possible code violations, and have maintained close coordination with the Association Board. This increased vigilance and attention to detail by Pilot officials has resulted in timely resolution of problem areas within the development.”
Barbara M. Thurman, Secretary, Saltaire at Carlsbad, 760-476-0304
“I received a call from another association asking for a recommendation for Pilot from me. Their last horrendous dealings were with (name deleted). The entire scenario was a de-ja vu experience. You at Pilot will get more business on recommendations; you are that different in the marketplace.
I call it comprehensive customer service (CCS). It is not easy to do this initially, but it saves so much time and energy for you, and it saves hundreds of hours for an association president vs. having to call 10 to 20 times a week in frustration from association president’s who cannot get anything done because they are looked at, (say by, name deleted), as a nuisance. My relationship with three other agencies was adversarial, simply by the design of their business model.
I say this to boost your own evaluation of Pilot. You have a great business model. The most important thing you do as a company, and that you do as an association manager (Julie), is to communicate. Then follow through with what you say you will do and not promise that which you cannot do.
It is a business model that has escaped every other agency we have worked with. Though, its implementation seems obvious. All others have found communicating as a necessary evil; more convenient to get the association off their backs by telling them something and then not do it. Don’t give away your secret to your competitors that this is not what you do. The key of course, is good people associated with a good business model that maintains cost effective value.
I never feel we are cheated by Pilot. I always feel there is worth to your services. I hope this helps, as I continue to be impressed and thankful that I could leave the presidency and know the systems were in place, and I could trust the agency that was managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the association. It was never about me. It is about you at Pilot. Thank you everyone there.
I am your strongest advocate and believe in saying so when a company this consistent and trustworthy is found. My reasons for this email are also selfish, as I am building the sales and marketing model for my new company. Your model is my goal. Thank you again.
